social worker talking to family

Through their dedication and caring, professionals in the field of social work throughout the state have a positive effect on Wisconsin children, parents, and families. Touching individual lives, these professionals play a key role in how the Department of Children and Families helps children, youth, parents, and communities. In observance of Social Work Month in March, Secretary Eloise Anderson will recognize and honor Wisconsin's outstanding professionals in the field of social work.

These awards will formally honor and thank child welfare professionals for the incredible work they do each and every day. Please submit nominations for child welfare professionals who deserve recognition for their efforts with children, schools, hospitals or community organizations.

Secretary Anderson will present the awards at a ceremony on March 29th at 11:30 a.m. at the State Capitol in Madison. Nominations submissions are due by Friday, February 23, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.
