13.3.5 Third Party Verification

If there is unreported income or assets found through the third party verification process, DCFDCFDepartment of Children and Families sends a report detailing cases that require additional investigation. It is the W-2W-2Wisconsin Works agency’s responsibility to review the reported information and determine if the previously unreported income or assets would have impacted eligibility and process any overpayments as needed. Depending on the results of the investigation, it may also be appropriate to process an IPVIPVIntentional Program Violation.
