13.3.1 Income and Eligibility Verification System (IEVS) Data Exchanges

The Income and Eligibility Verification System Data Exchange (IEVSIEVSIncome and Eligibility Verification System DXDXData Exchange) includes the following information:

  • Unemployment insurance benefits (UIBUIBUnemployment Insurance Benefits);
  • SSNSSNSocial Security Numberss (SOLQ-ISOLQ-IState Online Query Internet Process);
  • SSISSISupplemental Security Income payments (SOLQ-I);
  • Other SSSSSocial Security income (SOLQ-I); and
  • Earned income through wages (SWICASWICAState Wage Income Collection Agency).

13.3.1.1 Unemployment Insurance Benefits (UIB) and State Online Query – Internet (SOLQ-I)

The UIB and SOLQ-I data exchanges run automatically through CWWCWWCARES Worker Web at:

  • Intake;
  • Review;
  • Person add; and
  • Program add.
  • The W-2W-2Wisconsin Works agency must follow up on any discrepancies between the information gathered via these data exchanges and participant-reported information.

13.3.1.2 State Wage Information Collection Agency (SWICA)

The State Wage Income Collection Agency Data Exchange (SWICA) is run quarterly. If there is a difference between participant-reported wages and the wages collected in this data exchange, CWW creates a discrepancy. The W-2 agency must follow up on any discrepancies by attempting to verify income.
