13.2 Prevention

Program integrity prevention involves a review of specific characteristics of individual cases that exhibit markers of potential program violation(s). Enhanced or additional verification through Front-End Verification (FEVFEVFront end-verification ) and the development of an error-prone profile can:

  • Ensure correct case information prior to the first payment being received; and
  • Minimize incorrect payments and possible overpayments.
