13.1.3 Program Integrity Standard Operating Procedures
Each W-2W-2 agency is required to submit standard operating procedures outlining the internal steps the agency must follow to implement a Program Integrity Plan to its Regional Administrator or Regional Coordinator.
Standard operating procedures must:
- Describe the agency’s plan to identify and address program integrity efforts;
- Identify a Program Integrity Representative for the agency;
- Describe the agency’s plan to implement a Program Integrity Plan;
- Establish procedures for FEVFEV, fraud referrals, and investigations; and
- Establish procedures to determine when overpayments are the result of an IPVIPV and establish procedures for applying IPVs.
W-2 agencies must review their standard operating procedures periodically to ensure they are current and submit their templates on an annual basis to DCF for review.
