2.8.3  Temporary Absence and Kinship Care

An individual is not eligible for W-2Wisconsin Works  services under the temporary absence policy when an out-of-home child is in Kinship Care.

However, provided all policy requirements are met, the individual may be eligible for W-2 under the temporary absence policy if at least one out-of-home child is not in Kinship Care (e.g., foster care). (See 2.8.2)
