Driver's Licenses

The state has the authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of driver's licenses of individuals owing overdue support or failing, after receiving appropriate notice, to comply with subpoenas or warrants relating to paternity or child support proceedings.

If Driver's License is listed as "Active" in the Administrative Enforcement Action section of the Court Case Summary screen, the payer must either pay off the past-due amount in full, or make satisfactory payment arrangements with the child support agency to have the license issued.
