Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
Wis. Stat. ยง 48.66(3) authorizes the Department to prescribe the information to be reported by persons licensed by it. Day Camp licensees are expected to report to the BECR regional office a change of any program service, at least five days prior to the change.
If the licensee initially reports the change to BECR verbally, s/he will be asked to submit a written report via Fax, e-mail, or letter. The format preferred by BECR for reporting and documenting this notification is the Notice of Voluntary Temporary Closure of Child Care Center. The Notice requests information from the licensee that will define the terms of the closure and is signed and dated by the licensee and the licensing specialist.
