Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
Wis. Stat. ยง 48.658(4)(a) requires that when monitoring a center that provides transportation, the licensing specialist must inspect each vehicle that is required to have a child safety alarm to determine whether the child safety alarm is in good working order. This determination must be made by direct observation and cannot be marked as met or unmet based on a discussion of the rule with the licensee or review of internal procedures or records.
