2.4 Posting Requirements for CFS-785

In accordance with Wis. Stat. §§ 48.657(2) and (2g), group child care centers, family child care centers, and day camps are required to post the most recent inspection report, the CFS-785, near the license in an area visible to the public, parents, guardians, or legal custodians. In addition, Wis. Admin. Code §§ DCF 250.04(2)(i), 251.04(2)(L) and Wis. Admin. Code § DCF 252.41(1)(L) requires child care centers and camps to post the results of the most recent licensing inspection next to the license in an area visible to parents. The CFS-785 remains posted until the following monitoring visit to the center, when a new CFS-785 or CFS-294 is issued. The results of the licensing visit, as reflected on the CFS-785, are displayed in the provider’s regulatory history on the Regulated Child Care and YoungStar Public Search website for three years.
