Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
A CFS-785 is not issued under the following circumstances:
The facility visit is solely for the purpose of providing technical assistance or a license amendment and no other monitoring occurred;
The facility visit is for purposes of investigating a complaint or incident/accident report that does not result in a violation and no other monitoring occurred;
The facility visit is to verify correction of violations cited on a previously issued CFS-294 and all violations cited on the previously issued CFS-294 have been corrected and no other monitoring occurred. Compliance should be documented on the previously issued CFS-294;
The facility visit is a pre-licensing technical assistance visit or an initial licensing visit made prior to licensure. The administrative rule requirements that must be met prior to licensure are identified on the:

The facility visit results in one or more violations that the licensing specialist cites on the CFS-294, but notes immediate correction. A CFS-294 noting the violations and that immediate corrections occurred is issued under these circumstances;
There was no facility visit, the licensing specialist received and reviewed an incident/accident report, and did not cite any violations.
There was no facility visit, the licensing specialist received, reviewed, and approved center policies and recorded it in WISCCRS as a desk review.
