Enforcement Questions
The comments field in the Enforcement Module may contain documentation that the licensing specialist has received a phone call, an email or an office visit from the provider with questions or concerns regarding an enforcement action issued to the provider. S/he makes note of the date that such a contact occurred, who made the contact and that the subject matter of the contact was the most recent enforcement action. The comments field would not provide extensive detail about the conversation, such as what the parties said to each other, but would focus on the fact that the contact occurred, the nature of the questions asked and the date of the contact.
Example: “On DATE, the licensee called to ask when the licensing specialist could make a visit to verify that the violation identified in the enforcement action has been corrected. I explained that I would visit within the next month to verify the correction.”
