Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
When a facility crosses BECR regional boundaries (e.g., has locations in more than one region), one regional licensing representative is assigned to review the facility’s center policies and staff records that may be stored in an off-site central location. The results from these reviews impact all of the facility locations and must be shared with the appropriate licensing specialists from all affected regions. The results also must be entered into the WISCCRS record for each facility location.
The assigned licensing specialist who completes the staff record review or center policy review enters into WISCCRS the visit reason (“Off-Site Record Review”) and date, and the monitoring results (CFS-294 or CFS-785) for the facility location(s) in his/her region. S/he forwards the completed staff record checklist (or policy review results) to the other licensing specialists that are assigned to the facility locations in the other regions.
The licensing specialist(s) from the other region(s) receiving the staff record checklist (or policy review results) from the assigned licensing specialist enters the results into WISCCRS for his/her region’s facility location(s), indicating the site visit or policy review date, the primary visit reason (“Desk Review”) and the monitoring results (CFS-294 or CFS-785).
