Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
A standardized format, Warning Letter – Telephone, is available on the BECR Intranet. This standardized format notifies the facility that one or more attempts have been made to reach the facility by telephone but the phone has been disconnected. This warning letter indicates that failure to provide a working telephone constitutes an imminent danger to the health, safety and welfare of the children in care and gives the facility three days to respond by phoning the licensing specialist. The warning indicates that failure to respond will result in a summary suspension of the license. This warning letter, signed by the licensing manager/licensing supervisor, is sent via certified mail and regular mail. A Noncompliance Statement and Correction Plan is sent with this warning letter.
