Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
If there is reason to suspect that the licensee is providing care to children after the temporary suspension of the license has been initiated, the licensing specialist should make an enforcement follow-up inspection of the facility during the license suspension period. Or, if a complaint is received indicating that there are children in care, the licensing specialist follows the guidelines for complaint investigation. If the provider is found to be caring for children during the license suspension period, the licensing specialist should consult with the licensing manager/licensing supervisor on the next steps that should be taken, such as revocation. For more information, see the Revocation chapter in the Enforcement Actions section of the procedure manual.
