Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
If it is not the end of the child care day, licensing staff should ensure that parents are called to pick up their children. Whenever possible, licensing staff should remain on the premises until all children have left the facility. They should give a copy of the Notice to Inform Parents of Summary Suspension (with the link to the Licensed Child Care and YoungStar Public Search website and the contact number for the local resource and referral agency) to parents as they come to collect their children. Extra copies of the notice should be left with the provider with instructions to give them to parents who may not have yet received one.
