2.1.2 Impact of Summary Suspension on a Provider's YoungStar Rating and Participation in Wisconsin Shares

Providers that are summarily suspended are considered out of regulatory compliance by YoungStar. Upon receipt of the Notice of Summary Suspension, the provider is given a one star rating by the Bureau of YoungStar. The program remains out of regulatory compliance until the enforcement action is resolved. If and when a provider is deemed to be in regulatory compliance, the provider’s prior rating is restored.

Any future participation in the Wisconsin Shares program depends upon the outcome of the revocation proceedings or whether the Department allows the center to reopen.
