Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
It is critical for the regional office to inform other involved agencies whenever an enforcement action that affects licensure is initiated. This notification is usually accomplished through verbal communication, followed by a copy of the enforcement document. The agencies that must immediately be informed of a summary suspension include the following:
County social/human services agency
Resource and Referral agency
Law enforcement, if the basis for the summary suspension relates to an ongoing criminal investigation
