Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
The Regulated Child Care and YoungStar Public Search website will identify that there is an exception in place in the Condition Details section, in the Condition Type column, with the begin and end dates and the statement “See Posted Exception”.
Note: Certain short-term exceptions should not be identified on the license certificate or posted on the public website. This occurs when the exception is not expected to be ongoing, usually lasting a few days to a few weeks, and will end before the end of the licensing period. An example is a time-limited exception to allow a 5-week old infant for one week, until age 6 weeks. If the child is receiving subsidy, an additional ages served line must be added to include 5 weeks to 6 weeks for the pertinent week, and reverts back to usual ages served range. (This is required for authorization of Wisconsin Shares payments.)
