Any person aggrieved by a Department action taken under Wis. Stat. §§ 48.715, 48.68(1) and/or 48.686, has the right to an administrative hearing under Wis. Stat. § 227.42. Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 48.72, the written request must be sent directly to the Department of Administration, Division of Hearings and Appeals, no later than 10 days from the date of the notice.
If the licensee appeals the order and prevails, the case is closed. If the licensee does not prevail, the order stands and the licensing specialist should then proceed to ensure that the licensee terminates the employee.
