BECR must utilize all procedures and security mechanisms necessary to prevent unauthorized access to, or disclosure of, all UI data. Any information received by BECR from DWD can only be used to the extent necessary to assist in the valid administrative needs of BECR in carrying out the delinquent unemployment insurance contributions query or as otherwise allowed by state or federal law.
BECR personnel with access to the information will adhere to the policies and procedures of DWD regarding confidentiality. Information in electronic format must be stored and processed in such a way that unauthorized persons cannot retrieve the information by means of computer, remote terminal or otherwise. BECR may not disclose DWD data without prior written approval from DWD and must otherwise comply with confidentiality requirements.
