Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
The requirements for issuance of the Compliance Statement depend on the circumstances of the monitoring visit, as follows:
If the licensing specialist conducts a desk review or on-site monitoring visit to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, accident, injury or death only, no other areas of the center are reviewed, and no violations will be cited, the licensing specialist does not issue a Compliance Statement.
If the licensing specialist conducts an on-site monitoring visit to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, accident, injury or death and combines this investigation with monitoring for compliance in other areas of the center, and no violations will be cited, a Compliance Statement is issued. The Compliance Statement indicates that no violations were cited in all areas reviewed as part of the monitoring visit, including areas investigated as part of the incident, accident, injury or death investigation.
