7.3 Completing the Complaint Investigation Summary Letter - Informing the Provider/Complainant of the Investigation Findings

A Complaint Investigation Summary Letter may be sent to the individual subject to the investigation, if requested, as a way to share the results of the investigation. If requested, the complainant is also sent a copy at the same time that the individual is sent their notification. The letter indicates whether the violation is substantiated or unsubstantiated. At their discretion, the licensing specialist may report the results to the individual/complainant verbally.
