Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
A license amendment is a change to the terms of the license and requires a new letter of transmittal (LOT) and license certificate. A license may be amended at continuation or any time during the licensing period. Requests for amendments must be made in writing by the licensee and approved by BECR. The following changes to the license require a written request for a license amendment:
Licensed capacity;
Age range of the children;
Hours of operation;
Days of the week the center is in operation;
Months of year the center is in operation;
Name of the center.
The amendment date on the license certificate is the date the certificate is printed.
