Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
BECR receives open record requests from many entities, including but not limited to: child care providers, private law firms, and the general public. BECR Regional Office staff provides the file or requested materials, reviews and redacts confidential information, if necessary, and sends the documents to the DCF Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) for review and approval. If the files are to large to email, they can be uploaded by the regional office to an S:drive folder that OLC creates. The DCF Office of Legal Counsel may charge fees for these requests.
