Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
A license amendment is a change to the terms of the license and requires a new letter of transmittal (LOT) and license certificate. A license may be amended at continuation or any time during the licensing period. Requests for amendments must be made in writing by the licensee and approved by BECR. Examples of license amendments are changes in the center’s hours of operation or to the ages served. The amendment date on the license certificate is the date the amendment is printed.
