Child Care Background Check Procedures
A minor who is, or will be, employed, or completing an internship, practicum or clinical training at a child care program must complete a Background Check Request form and receive preliminary background check approval prior to working under supervision. The Background Check Request form may be submitted by the child care program or the educational institution. (See Section 2.14 regarding Background Check Request form submittals by contracted agencies and educational institutions.)
