2.15 WISCCRS Dashboard

The WISCCRS dashboard is a method of communication from another user or from another system, helping workers stay informed, track tasks that need to be completed, manage workload among various staff, and quickly access various records in WISCCRS where work needs to be completed. Background check-related tasks and messages can come from the CCPP and from other users in WISCCRS.

Tasks (used by DCF CBU staff only): If an action is needed, staff processes them by doing something in the system (e.g., requesting a background check, reviewing FBI/DOJ results that have been received for an individual). The task contains a link to the page in WISCCRS where the issue that generated the task can be accomplished. Tasks can be assigned to CBU workers and show varying levels of progress: pending, assigned, in progress, processed, on hold, or canceled.

Messages (Used by Certification/Licensing Regional Staff/Child Care Providers): Messages are sent to inform an agency, worker, or child care provider of a background check related matter or status of a background check request. Messages are informational only and can be read (i.e., processed), but not assigned.

Certifiers and regional licensing staff will receive messages when certain actions happen in WISCCRS or the CCPP. For, example, messages will also go out when a fit date is entered by the CBU. Each Message will indicate source, date created and status.

For more information about the Dashboard, see the Dashboard User Guide.
