2.11 Facility is Not in WISCCRS

If the CBU receives a Background Check Request form and is unable to determine the facility the individual is associated with in WISCCRS, it is likely that the applicant has not yet submitted an application or the application is not yet entered in WISCCRS. This could occur for a prospective licensed applicant, certified applicant, training facility, or contracted service. In each case, the Background Check Request form should be entered under the unaffiliated provider location in WISCCRS so the fingerprint letter is triggered. The CBU should also contact the individual and inform them the fingerprint letter is on its way and recommend they get access to iChildCare Portal so they can view their background check status and results.
