Child Care Certification Policy Manual
If the CBU had determined the operator or other individual is ineligible due a conviction of a crime that substantially relates to the care of children or the activities of the program, the certified operator may no longer remain certified. If the certified operator does not withdraw certification voluntarily, or the individual with the ineligible determination is not removed from the premises as a resident or caregiver, the certification is revoked.
The certification agency must inform the operator in writing of the operator’s right to appeal the decision and the agency’s steps in the appeal process.
