5.3.3 - Determining the Best Time to Gather the Information

The certification worker must consider the best time to gather information based on the type and specifics of the complaint. An unannounced site visit to make observations is frequently best done at the same time as the alleged violation occurred if the time of day was a factor. Nap time can be an excellent time to speak with a provider. The certification worker may need to make more than one visit.
