Child Care Certification Policy Manual
Staff records in certified family child care are often kept on file with the certification agency. The certification worker shall monitor for requirements under DCF 202.08 (family child care), including training / education, experience, orientation, emergency contact information, tuberculosis screening, continuing education, and to verify DCF's preliminary and final background check eligibility determination has been made prior to staff working in the child care program. An optional staff record form is available for certification workers to use.
