10.3 - Verifying the Correction Plan

When a Noncompliance Statement is issued, the certification worker should attempt to verify correction of all noncompliances/violations and document this at the next on-site monitoring visit. When the operator has a history of poor compliance, the certification worker may choose to conduct a follow up monitoring visit as soon as possible after the expected correction completion date. It is not always possible to verify correction of all violations at the next on-site visit, due to factors outside the control of the certification worker such as weather, timing of the verification visit, etc. The certification worker can make a notation on the original Noncompliance Statement and as to when verification of these noncompliances can be expected.

See Sections 15 Verification Visit and Section 16 Verification by Telephone / Electronic / Mail / Regular Mail.

Note: See WISCCRS User Guide - Monitoring Results for more detailed explanation of how subsequent monitoring results automatically insert the correction verification date for a previous violation if/when the rule is found to be in compliance at a subsequent monitoring visit.

Note: Do not modify the monitoring result from “unmet” to “met” when a violation has been verified as corrected. Instead, add the correction verification date (highlighted in screenshot above)
