10.2 - Screening the Plan of Correction

The Correction Plan shall be reviewed/screened by the certification worker, scanned and uploaded into WISCCRS (which sends the form to the public search website). Certification workers should not wait until a “verification” visit has been conducted before uploading the Correction Plan but rather upload the document after it has been reviewed/scanned. See the WISCCRS User Guide –Monitoring Results for instructions and additional detail.

Before the Correction Plan is uploaded to WISCCRS, it must be screened by the certification worker. The Correction Plan should not include confidential information, derogatory comments, personal insults, threatening language or profanity. If the Correction Plan contains any of the above, do not upload the document. The certified operator should be notified that the Correction Plan needs revision. This may be done via phone call to the operator or through a written request for revision.

Note: It is best practice for certification workers not to alter forms submitted by certified operators but instead request the form be revised and resubmitted by the operator.
