1.10 Alternating Arrival/Release

If a child arrives at the certified program from school, home or other activities, or departs from the program to go to school, home or other activities and the child will not be accompanied by a parent or other previously authorized person or transported by the center, it is advised the parent/guardian and operator use the Alternate Arrival/Release Agreement or some other form securing the parent’s signed agreement and outlining the plan for a child to arrive/depart from the program to ensure safety of the child(ren). The operator should then plan for situations when a child fails to arrive as scheduled from school or other activity.
