2.2.1 SIDS Training Options/Materials

• Safe to Sleep videos by National Institute of Health

• Sleep Baby Safe (Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin)

• The Wisconsin Registry: Individuals may use The Wisconsin Registry website to search for in-person SIDS training. Users can conduct a search using “Keyword Search” or search a list of training opportunities in specific regions of the state by clicking on the regional map.

• Entry-level coursework: Effective September 2001, the Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Fundaments of Infant and Toddler Care department-approved courses include SIDS reduction training. Principles of Child Care Certification includes both SIDS Prevention and AHT Reduction training.
