eWiSACWIS Modernization Project

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) has begun a project to build it’s own IT infrastructure. As part of the DCF IT Infrastructure Build Project, the eWiSACWIS infrastructure will be migrated from the DHS servers to the new DCF IT Infrastructure at the State data center. Over the next few months, the State will also be working on upgrading the underlying hardware, software, and database used by the eWiSACWIS application. These infrastructure changes have impacts to various applications and the county integration components.

Statewide Operations Manual DOC PDF

With the exception of on-demand batch programs, the programs and processes in the WiSACWIS system are designed to run hands-off.  The batch scheduler automatically runs scheduled batch runs, backup procedures and interface programs.  Reports, which are part of the scheduled run will be produced without any further operator intervention.
