Transitional Jobs RFP

The Transitional Jobs Demonstration Project Grant Request for Proposals (RFP) is available for reference. The selection of proposals has been completed.

Questions and Answers about the RFP (Updated 5/4/10)

RFP Clarification: As stated in RFP section 2.3, all proposals must be submitted via both printed copies and electronically, and the electronically submitted proposals must be in the form of an e-mail attachment prepared using Microsoft Word. The Project Budget in RFP section 5.4 may be prepared using Microsoft Excel, however when submitted electronically in the proposal, the Project Budget must be converted to Microsoft Word.

RFP Clarification: As noted in RFP section 4.4.3, the program design for the TJDP makes subsidized work (the transitional jobs) covered employment for purposes of unemployment insurance. The unemployment tax liability for this coverage is a reimbursable program expense. If a prospective Contractor believes that transitional jobs it is proposing cannot be covered employment due to special circumstances, this should be indicated in the proposal. Those proposals with special circumstances will be reviewed and considered by DCF.
