Boys and Girls Clubs

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families block grant funds in the amount of $700,000 ($350,000 each year) have been awarded to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wisconsin for Calendar Years 2010-2011. This funding will be used for the Statewide Targeted Outreach Program at the 32 club sites.

The program serves youth ages 6 through 18 with primary emphasis on pre- and early-adolescent years. Boys and Girls Clubs of Wisconsin provide citizenship and leadership development, the arts, health and life skills, educational and career development, sports, fitness, and recreation. They also provide social and cultural activities.
