Wisconsin Shares Suspension

Provider Name Licensed Capacity* Shares Authorizations* Most Recent Monthly Payment
No More Tears Child Dev Center 8 7 (September, 2009) $2,352 (September, 2009)

*At suspension unless otherwise noted

Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:

The Department of Children and Families suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program due to a combination of red flags signifying Shares violations. The suspension was based upon the provider continuing to bill the Wisconsin Shares program after the provider abandoned and was later evicted from her licensed child care facility. The provider informed her licensor on 9/10/09 that she had been evicted, however the Department’s investigation uncovered that the bank holding the mortgage on the property where the provider’s day care facility was located determined the property was abandoned on or prior to 6/12/09. The provider continued to bill the Wisconsin Shares program for child care at the abandoned location from 6/14/09 through 9/12/09. The Department has established an overpayment of $14,255.08 which equals 100% of the billing submitted by the provider for claimed child care between 6/14/09 and 9/12/09.
