Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Families suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program due to a combination of red flags signifying Shares violations and investigative findings. An audit of the attendance records compared with the billing records found that there were significant hours improperly billed to Wisconsin Shares which is contrary to DCF 201.04(5)(c) and licensing rule DCF 251.04(6)(a)(6)(b). From the period 7/05/09 through 10/24/09, the provider was overpaid in excess of $25,000 and billed the State of Wisconsin for over 4,000 hours of which child care was not provided.
