Wisconsin Shares Suspension
| Provider Name | Licensed Capacity* | Shares Authorizations* | Most Recent Monthly Payment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mother Jones | 50 | 71 | $78,786 (August) |
*At suspension unless otherwise noted
Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Family suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program for a combination of issues.
It was found in a June 2009 Legislative Audit Bureau Report that Mother Jones did not respond to the information request for October 2008 attendance records despite communication requiring that providers receiving Shares payments comply.
For the month the LAB auditors requested records (9/28/08 to 11/1/08), DCF has identified overpayments of $18,459. In reviews of attendance records, inconsistencies were identified between reported attendance of children and hours billed and gaps in records.
Provider had previously received citations from licensors related to the maintenance of attendance records on March 26, 2009 and May 4, 2009.
