Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Families revoked the license of this child care program on March 18, 2009 as a result of violations of the Wisconsin Shares program identified in an audit by the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services (MCDHHS).
The Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services (MCDHHS) notified the Department by a letter dated March 3, 2009 that Kiddie Kampus Child Care, LLC was suspended from the Wisconsin Shares program and an overpayment recoupment was being sought. These actions were taken by the MCDHHS due to the results of an audit conducted by the county in which they determined that Kiddie Kampus Child Care: 1) billed for children who were not in attendance at the location as stated in the children's authorization; 2) reported hours of attendance, and billed for children that were not present at the regulated location; 3) over reported hours of attendance.
Due to these serious discrepancies for the period of February 3, 2008 through April 24, 2008 and June 1, 2008 through August 9, 2008, overpayments of $61,636.82 were established by MCDHHS.
