The Department of Children and Families suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program due to a combination of red flags signifying Shares violations. These were identified through data and in person visits.
As of mid September, 2009, 69% of the provider's Shares authorizations were for children of employees. At the time, the provider had Shares authorizations for 16 children, 11 of whom were children of employees.
During in-person visit by DCF staff on September 24, staff was unable to gain access to the facility. Licensor had visited earlier in the week, and at that time, was also unable to gain access to the facility.
