Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Families revoked the license of this child care program on June 26, 2009 due to violations of the Wisconsin Shares program identified in an audit by the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services and in a subsequent investigation by the Department of Children and Families.
The Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services (MCDHHS) notified the Department in a letter dated June 23, 2009 that Christina's Child Care and Development Center, Inc. was suspended from participation in the Wisconsin Shares program for six months effective July 4, 2009. The provider was notified that an overpayment of $30,331.01 had been established.
