Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Families suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program because Milwaukee County Health and Human Services Department (MCHHSD) determined an Intentional Program Violation (IPV), which had already led to the Department revoking the provider's license.
The Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services (MCDHHS) notified the Department by a letter dated May 20, 2009 that new authorizations for children attending Allmost Like Home were being suspended for a period of six months due to the failure and/or refusal of provider to provide the county with required attendance information and documentation. In addition, provider was informed that she had received an overpayment of Wisconsin Shares child care subsidy dollars in the amount of $22,985.00 for the period of January 1, 2009 to April 25, 2009.
