Secretary Anderson Appoints James Martin Administrator of DCF's Division of Enterprise Solutions

MADISON –Department of Children and Families (DCF) Secretary Eloise Anderson today announced the appointment of James Martin as Administrator of the Division of Enterprise Solutions. In this role, Martin will oversee DCF operations such as human resources, information technology, and financial management. This Division provides support essential to the operation of the Secretary's Office and DCF's three other divisions.

"James comes to us with substantial fiscal, analytical, and managerial experience," said Secretary Anderson. "His expertise and experience will help us be effective and efficient in serving Wisconsin’s families."

Since March 2005, James has worked for Milwaukee County serving as a Fiscal and Management Analyst as well as a Fiscal and Budget Manager. Most recently he served as the Interim IT Director for Governance of the County's Information Management Services Division. In this role, he was an integral member of the Division's executive administration team that provided a comprehensive information technology (IT) framework and services to more than 5,000 users countywide.

James earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. His commitment to children is clear, as he served four terms in AmeriCorps teaching children and working to improve educational outcomes.

James will begin this position on Monday, May 2, 2011.
