Re: Increase in 2006 Kinship Care Benefits Funds

 I am pleased to inform you that your county/tribe will receive an increase in your Kinship Care program allocation for calendar year (CY) 06. The Department has received a direct increase in TANF funding for Kinship Care (KC) benefits, and as a result, your county/tribe will receive an increase in your 2006 Kinship Care allocation. As usual, we will calculate county/tribal KC allocations based on the average number of cases for the most recent 12 month period. You will be notified of your specific allocation and assessment amounts through the standard contract process.
