Attached is a list showing as of March, 2004; incorporated group homes with rates established for 2004. The Department establishes a rate for incorporated group homes from budget information requested in the October 1, 1999 memo authored by William Fiss.

Payments made to incorporated group homes should be reported on the group home payroll. Payments made to unincorporated group homes follow the Uniform Foster Care Rate System. Payments made to unincorporated group homes should be reported on the foster family care payroll.

Where the attached list does not show a rate, the group home licensee or director should follow the instructions in the October 1, 1999 William Fiss memo. County departments are advised of possible audit exception for purchasing services from incorporated group homes without established rates for 2004.

Group homes are asked to report any errors or omissions on group home facility names to Sally Hanko Dees at the address below. Group homes not in agreement with their rate or having questions on how to change their rate should contact Thomas Smith at (608) 266-2558.
