Chapter HFS 58 - Eligibility for the Kinship Care and Long-Term
Kinship Care Program |
The revised administrative rule, Chapter HFS 58, Eligibility for the
Kinship Care and Long-Term Kinship Care Program became effective on
February 1, 2002. The revised rules are now available on the Department's
web site at http://dhfs.wisconsin.gov/news/Rules/index.htm.
Booklets containing the rule will be available in the near future from the
DCFS Publications Unit, DHFS/DCFS, P.O. Box 8916, Madison, WI 53708-8916.
We have not scheduled any training sessions for Ch. HFS 58, but, at the
suggestions of county and tribal Kinship Care Contact Persons, we will
continue to participate in Kinship Care Roundtable meetings in each region
to discuss the rule and address other Kinship program issues. It would be
helpful to Kinship Care providers and applicants for Kinship Care payments
to provide them with a copy of the rule booklet once it is available.
